10-minute grids of mean monthly surface temperature over global land areas, excluding Antarctica. Means for the period from 1961 to 1990. Data interpolated into Arc Info Grid format from ascii data files available through Oxford University (<http://www.geog.ox.ac.uk>), the Climate Research Unit (<http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk>), and the International Water Management Institute (<http://www.iwmi.org>).
Purpose:
For use in many applications in applied climatology, biocgeochemical modelling, hydrology and agricultural meteorology.
